The Factor 55 Flatlink E shackle mount offers a safer and stronger alternative to traditional winch hooks. It is precision machined from 6000 series aluminum and finished with a red powder coat for enhanced durability. This shackle mount is designed to work with both steel cables and synthetic winch ropes up to 3/8 inch in diameter, and it fits common 3/4 inch shackles and D-rings. The Flatlink E is the industry's first folding shackle mount for recovery winches, featuring a thickness of less than 1.75 inches when folded flat, making it compatible with all roller fairlead license plate mounting brackets. It also includes an EPDM Rubber Guard to protect alloy fairleads and cushion line stowage, while eliminating hook rattle and fairlead damage. The installation is straightforward, allowing you to replace your existing hook with the FlatLink thimble without permanent modifications. With a maximum load rating of 16,000 pounds and an ultimate failure rating greater than 40,000 pounds, the Flatlink E ensures robust performance during recovery operations.
