The Factor 55 FlatLink is the original folding winch shackle bracket, engineered for enhanced safety and performance during vehicle recovery. Its precision-machined 6000-series aluminum construction provides a maximum load rating of 16,000 lbs and an ultimate failure rating exceeding 40,000 lbs. The unique folding design offers a lower profile and a better approach angle compared to traditional shackle brackets, while remaining less than 1.75 inches thick when stowed flat. The integrated EPDM rubber guards serve a dual purpose: they protect alloy fairleads from abrasion and act as a cushion to prevent rattling when the line is stowed. This product is also compatible with Closed System Winching® techniques, enhancing security during demanding recovery scenarios. Installation of the FlatLink is straightforward, typically taking about 30 minutes with simple tools.
