The Genuine Mercedes flex disc kit, part number 1404100315, is engineered to ensure the proper functioning and longevity of your vehicle's drivetrain. This flex disc, also known as a guibo or drive shaft coupler, absorbs torsional vibrations and misalignments between the transmission and the driveshaft, contributing to a smoother and quieter ride. The kit includes the flex disc and is manufactured to the original equipment specifications, ensuring a precise fit and reliable performance. Its construction aims to withstand the stresses and strains of daily driving. The flex disc kit is compatible with a range of Mercedes-Benz W140 chassis models, including the S420 (4.2L V8) and S500 (5.0L V8) sedans and coupes, as well as the CL500 (5.0L V8) coupe. Specific model years supported include 1996 through 1999 for the S420 and S500, and 1998 through 1999 for the CL500.
