The Continental (VDO) Ethanol Content Sensor is a genuine Flex Fuel E85 sensor engineered to precisely measure the ethanol-to-gasoline ratio within your vehicle's fuel. This sensor is crucial for flexible fuel vehicles that utilize a blend of ethanol and gasoline, provided they are equipped with compatible fuel lines, injectors, and ECU calibration. Installation is simplified through quick-connect fuel connections, allowing it to be easily integrated into the main fuel feed line. All fuel will pass through the sensor before reaching the fuel rail, enabling accurate ethanol percentage readings that are transmitted as an electrical signal to an ethanol content analyzer, which then communicates with the vehicle's DME or ECU.
