The DSX Tuning flex fuel kit provides a true plug-and-play solution for integrating a flex fuel sensor into your vehicle. This kit allows your vehicle to run on a spectrum of fuels, from pure gasoline to pure ethanol, enabling you to unlock the full power potential of your setup, especially in forced induction applications. The included genuine GM Flex Fuel sensor and corrosion-resistant plumbing further ensure durability and ease of installation. While the kit can be installed without immediate tuning, its full functionality, including the ability to switch between fuels and optimize for ethanol's power benefits, requires activation in the ECM. This activation is typically performed using tuning software like HP Tuners or EFiLive. The installation process is estimated to take about one hour using basic hand tools. DSX manufactured components are covered against defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product, while the GM sensors carry a 90-day warranty.
