Flex Fuel Kit

The DSX Tuning flex fuel kit is the original plug-and-play solution for integrating flex fuel capability into Gen IV and Gen V GM V8 vehicles. This system allows your vehicle to seamlessly transition between running on pure gasoline, pure ethanol (E85), or any mixture in between. This adaptability is especially advantageous for forced induction applications, where the higher octane rating of ethanol can unlock significant power potential. The kit enables automatic fuel content monitoring and adjustment, eliminating the need for manual fuel level checks or ECU re-flashes when switching fuels. Constructed with quality in mind, this kit features a genuine GM Flex Fuel sensor for accurate readings. The plumbing components are made from corrosion-resistant materials to ensure durability and ease of installation. The wiring harness is plug-and-play, utilizing OEM connectors and terminals crimped with professional tooling, and includes a custom DSX Tuning 3D-printed fuel line disconnect. While the physical installation can be completed without an immediate ECU re-tune, the flex fuel functionality will only be activated and usable after the ECM is programmed using tuning software such as HP Tuners or EFILive. Compatibility is specifically designed for the 2005-2013 C6 Corvette, including Z06 models. However, a crucial distinction must be made for 2005 models, which utilize the E40 ECU, differing from the E38 ECU found in 2006-2013 models. Customers with a 2005 C6 Corvette must select the appropriate option to ensure correct fitment.
