The MODE Auto Concepts Flex Fuel Kit provides real-time ethanol content monitoring for your Ford F-150 or Raptor equipped with the 3.5L EcoBoost engine. This kit is essential if you are running E85 or ethanol blends, enabling you to accurately track your fuel's ethanol percentage directly on your smartphone or tablet through the Fuel-it! or JB4 app. The system is designed as a complete plug-and-play solution, ensuring an installation time of approximately 30 minutes. Included in the kit is a new 3/8" E85 compatible fuel line with an integrated genuine Continental® ethanol sensor, a Fuel-It! Bluetooth analyzer, a 13-foot remote harness, and a 3-foot wiring harness. Beyond the Bluetooth app connectivity for iOS and Android devices, the kit also offers a 5v analog output for integration with JB4 or other flash tuning solutions. This flex fuel kit is designed for the Ford F-150 and F-150/Lobo models from 2015 to 2020. For users of the Ford JB4 platform, specific wiring instructions are provided to connect the white wire to position #16 on the JB4 25-pin harness and select the appropriate WMI Ethanol Setup option for flex fuel input. If you are unsure about fitment, the kit is a direct plug-and-play replacement for Ford part # FL3Z9J280B; you can verify compatibility by comparing your stock part to the listing images or by cross-referencing the part number with your vehicle's VIN on Ford's official parts website.
