The Fuel-It! 13577429, also known as the Continental CON-SE1004S or Chevrolet Performance Flex Fuel Sensor, is a genuine OEM replacement designed to accurately measure ethanol content in the fuel of select GM vehicles, including Buick, Chevrolet, Cadillac, and GMC models. Installed inline between the fuel tank and engine, this sensor provides real-time ethanol content and fuel temperature data directly to the ECU. By feeding this information to the engine control unit, the sensor enables automatic adjustments to ignition timing and fuel delivery. This precise control is crucial for optimizing performance, particularly when using E85 or other ethanol blends, leading to improved cold start capabilities, better emissions control, and enhanced overall engine efficiency. The sensor supports 0–100% ethanol blends and operates within a wide temperature range of -40°C to +140°C.
