The Continental 13577429 is a flex-fuel content and temperature sensor, providing critical data for modern engine management systems. This sensor accurately measures the ethanol content of your fuel, ranging from 0 to 100%, and also reports the fuel's temperature. This information allows the engine control module (ECM) to dynamically adjust air/fuel mixture and ignition timing, optimizing performance and efficiency whether running on gasoline, E85, or a blend. Constructed with a 3-wire connection and operating on a 12VDC power supply, this sensor is designed for reliable integration. It features a 3/8″ barb fitting that is push-on and compatible with quick-connect lock fuel adapters. The sensor boasts a maximum flow rate of 400 LPH and operates within a wide temperature range of -40 to 150°C. The output signals are precise, with ethanol content calculated as [Frequency (Hz) – 50] and fuel temperature derived from [41.5 * Pulse width (ms)] – 81.25. This kit includes the flex fuel sensor itself, a Delphi connector for secure electrical attachment, a Syltech datasheet for technical reference, two black AN6 EFI barbs, and an anti-vibration stainless steel mounting bracket for straightforward installation.
