Flex Z Adjustable Coilover Kit

The Tein Flex Z coilover kit offers a performance-oriented suspension upgrade with a focus on ride comfort and adjustability. The full-length ride height adjustment system allows for precise lowering by adjusting the case length, ensuring minimal impact on ride quality and offering more tuning options for sport driving. Each corner of the Flex Z features 16 levels of adjustable damping force, which can be easily tuned via a knob to match driver preferences. For enhanced convenience, the kit is compatible with Tein's EDFC (Electronic Damping Force Controller) series, enabling in-cockpit damping force adjustments. However, it is important to note that some specific vehicle models may not be compatible with the EDFC series. The coilover springs are constructed from high-tensile steel SAE9254, known for excellent resistance to sagging and stability. These springs are powder coated for durability and corrosion resistance. The front springs have a rate of 9 kgf/mm (504 lbs/in) and a free length of 175mm, allowing for a maximum ride height adjustment range of -4.0 to 0.2 inches. The rear springs have a rate of 7 kgf/mm (392 lbs/in) and a free length of 200mm, with a maximum ride height adjustment range of -3.2 to 0.8 inches. Both front and rear ride height changes are approximately -1.2 inches. This coilover kit is specifically designed for 2008-2014 Subaru Impreza WRX STI AWD models, providing a direct fit for these applications.
