The Tein FLEX Z coilover kit is a complete suspension system designed for the 1993-2001 Subaru Impreza. This kit includes four shock absorbers and four springs, providing a comprehensive upgrade for your vehicle's suspension. The FLEX Z series coilovers offer a full-length adjustment system for ride height, allowing for precise tuning of your vehicle's stance. The front offers an adjustment range of -4.5 to -1.0 inches with a ride height change of -2.4 inches, while the rear adjusts from -3.2 to -1.5 inches with a change of -2.4 inches. Spring rates are set at 7.0 kg/mm for the front and 6.0 kg/mm for the rear. This system is also compatible with TEIN's EDFC (Electronic Damping Force Controller) systems for on-the-fly adjustments. Installation notes indicate that the rear OE dust boot may need modification. Furthermore, when adjusting the rear ride height, the Height Adjustable Spring (HAS) might need to be removed once. It is also recommended to use the VSC86-C1AA3 if your vehicle is equipped with optional parts or components such as a twin sunroof. Exceeding the recommended ride height adjustment range may lead to clearance or interference issues and could void the product warranty.
