The Tein FLEX Z coilover suspension kit is a performance upgrade specifically engineered for the Subaru BRZ ZD8, compatible with model years 2021.08 and newer. This kit offers full-length adjustability for ride height, allowing for precise tuning of the vehicle's stance, and also provides 16-level damping force adjustment for both front and rear, enabling drivers to fine-tune handling characteristics for various driving conditions. The kit includes front and rear mounts, with the front featuring camber adjustment capabilities. The standard spring rate is set at 58.8 N/mm (6.0 Kgf/mm) for both front and rear, with a standard spring free length of 150mm (front) and 175mm (rear). The system is also compatible with Tein's EDFC (Electronic Damping Force Controller) for convenient in-cabin adjustments. It is recommended to use a tire size of 215/45-17 with this suspension kit. Installation of this kit requires modifications to the rear interior, which may need to be cut or removed.
