FlexFuel Kit

The ProTuning BM3-FLEX-S58 is a comprehensive FlexFuel kit engineered for BMW S58 engines, specifically for the G8X M2, M3, and M4 models. This kit simplifies the installation of Flex Fuel hardware, offering a completely plug-and-play experience that integrates directly with the factory vehicle harness without the need for cutting, splicing, or de-pinning OEM connectors. Installation and removal can be completed in approximately five minutes, leaving no trace of modification. Designed with flow optimization in mind, the kit features a custom-designed Flex Fuel Sensor Adapter (FFSA) using SolidWorks to ensure unobstructed fuel flow and prevent pressure drop, which is crucial when utilizing ethanol blends for increased power. The sensor housing is crafted to fit neatly into the factory BMW fuel hat location and includes two 1/8 NPT ports for the optional installation of an auxiliary Fuel Pressure sensor, supporting future BM3 CustomROM v2 features. The kit also includes an Aluminum-6061 CANBus enclosure housing the BM3 Ethanol Content Analyzer (ECA) board, which seamlessly integrates with Bootmod3 CustomROM for FlexFuel enabled OTS MultiMaps and custom tunes. A custom, kink-free, teflon braided fuel line by XRP and a -6 AN fitting by Racetronix are also part of the package. This kit is intended for use with the OEM fuel pump and associated wiring; variations may not be compatible. Supported vehicles include the BMW G87 M2 and G8X M3/M4, including Competition models. This kit offers significant time and cost savings compared to other systems that require custom fabrication of fuel lines and wiring.
