Flexible Front Tower Bar

The STI Flexible Front Tower Bar is a unique chassis component engineered to enhance the handling characteristics of select Subaru BRZ and Toyota 86 models. Its innovative design splits an aluminum tower bar in the center, connecting the two sections with pillow ball joints. This flexible connection allows the bar to absorb longitudinal forces from road imperfections, contributing to a more comfortable ride while simultaneously resisting lateral forces during cornering. Constructed with an aluminum shaft and steel bracket ends, this strut tower brace aims to deliver a balanced improvement in overall vehicle performance. The flexible design helps maintain ride comfort by moderating road inputs, yet strongly holds against the lateral forces experienced during spirited driving. The outcome is enhanced cornering ability, improved straight-line stability, and a more refined ride quality, elevating the car's comprehensive performance level. Installation requires six Subaru OEM lock nuts (part number 20327CA000), which are not included with the bar and must be purchased separately. It is important to note that the BRZ tS model manufactured in 2013 comes standard with this Flexible Tower Bar already fitted. Compatibility is specific to JDM vehicles and includes Subaru BRZ ZC6 (Applied A-F, 2012-2021) and Toyota 86 ZN6 (2012-2021) and GR86 ZN8 (2021~). However, this bar is not compatible with RA Racing (RWD/6MT) vehicles manufactured after October 2017. Buyers are advised to conduct their own research to confirm fitment for their specific vehicle, as fitment is not guaranteed and after-sale support does not extend to installation assistance.
