This sensor's primary role is to detect the fluid level within the windshield washer reservoir, providing a crucial alert to the driver when the fluid level is critically low. It integrates seamlessly with the vehicle's electrical system to accurately report fluid levels. Compatibility is extensive, covering numerous Mercedes-Benz E-Class, C-Class, CLS, CL, GL, GLE, GLC, G, ML, SL, SLK, and AMG models across various model years from the mid-2000s to the present. Notably, the sensor is not compatible with cars equipped with the Heated Wash System (Code 875), specifically mentioned for the Mercedes-Benz E43 AMG 4Matic Sedan (2017-18). It is important to verify fitment with your specific vehicle's VIN and original equipment. Electrical items are non-returnable unless they are part of an approved warranty replacement.
