The Radium Engineering Fluid Lock Catch Can Kit is a specialized PCV catch can system engineered for the 2008-2015 Mitsubishi Evolution X. This kit is essential for performance vehicles that experience elevated levels of crankcase blow-by, particularly during aggressive driving. By capturing excess oil-saturated air before it recirculates into the air intake stream, it helps maintain optimal engine performance and prevent degradation. Its internal design incorporates a 2-step oil separation baffling system to effectively trap contaminants, further protected by an O-ring sealed dipstick for reliable operation. Radium Engineering offers this catch can as part of a closed-loop system, which vents filtered air back into the engine to be burned. This method promotes negative crankcase pressure for improved performance and also prevents unwanted oil vapors from entering the vehicle's cabin, contributing to a cleaner interior environment. Installation is a direct bolt-in process for the specified Evolution X models.
