MIA's Description

The Performance Steel Harmonic Balancer is engineered to reduce crankshaft torsional vibrations, protecting critical engine components. It enhances engine reliability and performance by maintaining smooth rotational balance across the RPM range. This damper is essential for maintaining engine health and maximizing horsepower on late-model GM LT1 engines. It is constructed with a hardened steel hub for superior strength and features a dual pulley system, including a removable 4-rib aluminum air conditioning pulley. The accessory drive pulley is integrated seamlessly into the outer housing, and the entire assembly is finished in a corrosion-resistant black coating, ensuring durability and long-lasting appearance. Installation requires moderate mechanical knowledge with no additional drilling necessary due to the pre-drilled holes for mounting aftermarket mandrels. The damper fits directly onto the crankshaft with a single 3/16 inch keyway, ensuring secure and precise positioning.
