Overview

The ACT XACT Lightweight Flywheel (Prolite) is designed to reduce rotating weight, allowing the engine to respond faster, rev easier, and provide better acceleration. Prolite flywheels are lighter than Streetlite versions and are preferred for road racing or rally racing, offering enhanced throttle response and acceleration, though with potentially reduced drivability. These flywheels feature a one-piece chromoly steel construction for maximum strength, good heat tolerance, and rigidity. They are serviceable and can be resurfaced without needing additional parts.

600230 is a Prolite flywheel, which is ACT's lighter flywheel offering with lowest inertia. Prolite flywheels are designed for best throttle response and acceleration. Prolite flywheels are preferred for road racing or rally racing, and have reduced drivability. Materials are properly distributed for maximum strength, good heat tolerance and rigidity. ACT flywheels are serviceable and can be resurfaced with no need to purchase additional parts.
