The Flyin' Miata FM 10.3 lb lightweight flywheel is designed to make your Miata feel more like a sports car by increasing engine responsiveness.

This steel flywheel features an integral ring gear and uses your factory pressure plate bolts. It offers a small but measurable improvement in acceleration in lower gears due to decreased inertial losses.

This flywheel may cause some drivetrain noise on closed-throttle deceleration. It is made in the 1994-05 size and can be used on a 1990-93 model if a 1.8 clutch is also installed.

The Flyin' Miata FM 10.3 lb lightweight flywheel is engineered to make your Miata feel more like a sports car by increasing engine responsiveness to throttle inputs. This allows the engine to react more quickly to both downshifts and upshifts, enhancing the driving experience. Constructed from steel with an integral ring gear, this flywheel utilizes your factory pressure plate bolts. It is designed in the 1994-05 size. For installation on a 1990-1993 model, a 1.8 clutch is also required. While it offers a small, measurable improvement in acceleration in lower gears due to decreased inertial losses, the primary benefit is the enhanced throttle response and a more sporty feel. Be aware that a lightweight flywheel may introduce some drivetrain noise during closed-throttle deceleration, but this is not expected to impact driveability unless paired with a very aggressive clutch. This flywheel is compatible with 1990-1997, 1999-2005, and 2004-2005 MSM models. It comes with a 90-day warranty.
