Lokar transmission dipsticks are proudly made in the United States, featuring a flexible braided stainless steel outer housing and a PTFE inner liner for enhanced durability and dependable performance. These dipsticks are meticulously engineered to provide accurate fluid level readings and present a clean, finished appearance. Each assembly includes a heat-resistant, easy-to-read flexible inner dipstick measuring cable, along with a billet aluminum handle and matching billet aluminum fittings. They are designed to complement Lokar's flexible engine dipsticks. Locking transmission dipsticks, a common variant, bolt into a sealed pan fitting. This design helps prevent the expulsion of the dipstick under transmission pressure and ensures a secure, positive seal. A significant advantage is that no traditional filler tube is needed for installation. Trans mount and firewall mount versions are supplied with a transmission storage plug. Lokar generally manufactures these for various GM, Ford, and Chrysler applications.
