Lokar locking transmission dipsticks are made in the United States and feature a PTFE-lined flexible braided stainless steel outer housing with a heat-resistant, easy-to-read flexible inner dipstick measuring cable for accurate fluid level checks. They come with a billet aluminum handle and fittings, and are available in bright or black finishes. These dipsticks bolt into a sealed pan fitting to help prevent expulsion under transmission pressure and provide a secure, positive seal. They do not require a filler tube for installation and are supplied with a transmission storage plug for trans mount and firewall mount versions. They are designed to complement Lokar flexible engine dipsticks. Lokar offers applications for GM, Ford, and Chrysler transmissions.
