The Lokar Floor Mount Shifter is designed to mount directly to the vehicle's floor, connecting to the transmission lever with a solid linkage. It is particularly suitable for applications where an existing hole in the floor or console can be utilized, and it does not require the removal of the transmission for installation. This makes it ideal for installation in finished vehicles, typically requiring only four holes for mounting and a slot for the Quad Shift Lever. It is often used in Muscle Cars. The kit includes necessary mounting hardware, a neutral safety switch, and detailed installation instructions. Customers can choose their preferred shifter lever (straight, single bend, double bend, or bench bend) and knob combination. Lever lengths vary from 4" to 32" and are available in black Cerakote or chrome plated finishes. Safety features include a positive lock-out mechanism in Park and Neutral and a properly wired neutral safety switch to prevent starting in gear.
