Lokar Floor Mount Shifters are designed for simple installation and are ideal for finished interiors and muscle cars. They mount directly to the floor and use a solid linkage for straightforward installation. These shifters work well between bucket seats and often utilize existing holes, typically requiring only minimal drilling and very little clearance between the floor and the transmission. They are designed with safety features including a positive lock-out mechanism in Park and Neutral, and a properly wired and adjusted neutral safety switch to prevent accidental gear engagement and unintended vehicle movement. The shifters are compatible with a wide range of automatic transmissions from GM, Ford, and Chrysler, including the TH200, TH350, TH400, 700R-4, 4L60, 4L60E, 4L80E, 200-4R, Aluminum Powerglide (PG), 45RFE, 518, 727, 904, AOD, C4, C6, FMX, and 4R70W/AODE. Each kit includes mounting hardware, a neutral safety switch, and detailed installation instructions. Various lever and knob options are available for customization.
