The Sealed Power WH345DCP 60 is a premium, hypereutectic engine piston engineered for performance and durability. Constructed from exclusive FM425 material, it offers superior strength and scuff resistance, enabling tighter bore clearances which enhance sealing and reduce blow-by. The piston's design includes sophisticated "barrel" profiles to optimize the oil wedge between the skirt and cylinder wall, ensuring better lubrication. Further enhancing its performance and longevity, the skirts of these pistons are protected by a next-generation DUROSHIELD coating. The piston head is flat with four reliefs, designed for use with a lock ring (LR-63). Each piston is weight-matched to within +/- 2 grams, ensuring balanced engine operation. The specifications include a 4.000-inch cylinder bore diameter, a 0.060-inch oversized amount, and a 0.927-inch piston pin outside diameter. The top and second compression ring thicknesses are both 0.0781 inches, with an oil ring thickness of 0.1875 inches. A minimum clearance of 0.0010 inches is recommended.
