The CTS Turbo FMIC Kit is an upgrade for the VW MKIV 1.8T Golf, GTI, and Jetta. This front mount intercooler kit offers significant cooling improvements over the factory setup, thanks to its high-density intercooler core and cast aluminum end tanks. The kit features "bead rolled" piping to prevent leaks and blow-offs.

The kit includes black aluminum piping, 4-ply silicone couplers, and stainless steel T-bolt clamps. It is pressure tested and rated to support over 450 crank horsepower. This intercooler is compatible with stock K03, K03s, K04, or ATP Eliminator turbos, as well as big turbo applications with modifications.

The CTS Turbo FMIC Kit is designed as an upgrade for the VW MKIV 1.8T Golf, GTI, and Jetta models, offering substantial cooling benefits over the stock intercooler. This front mount intercooler system features a proprietary high-density bar/plate core and cast aluminum end tanks, contributing to improved cooling efficiency for both stock and modified vehicles. Each pipe in this kit is mandrel-bent with 2.5" diameter and finished with a black powder coat. The piping is "bead rolled" to ensure a secure fit, preventing boost tubes from blowing off or leaking under pressure. The kit also includes 4-ply silicone couplers and stainless steel T-bolt clamps for robust connections. The intercooler itself is pressure tested and rated to support over 450 crank horsepower. This FMIC kit is compatible with stock K03, K03s, K04, or ATP Eliminator turbos. For those running bigger turbo setups, compatibility is maintained with the use of a CTS exhaust manifold or comparable custom modifications. Installation notes mention the proper seating of the MAP sensor o-ring for late MK4 models, with the sensor not included in the kit. Additionally, for a stealthier appearance, the stock bumper grilles can be reinstalled on Golf/GTI/Jetta models with some bumper trimming, though cutting of the bumper rebar and bumper itself is required.
