FMIC Kit Front Mount Intercooler and Piping System

The 27WON FMIC kit is a performance front mount intercooler and piping system engineered for the 2016+ Honda Civic 1.5T, including sedan, coupe, and hatchback models, as well as the 2017+ Civic SI (FC1 and FC3). The intercooler core features a significant increase in frontal area and thickness, with a 41% taller height (6.50 inches) and a 47% thicker core (3.70 inches), resulting in a 120% total core volume increase. This larger volume, combined with internal airfoils and optimized end tanks, ensures efficient distribution of airflow across the entire core. The pressure drop has also been reduced from approximately 1.60 psi to 0.70 psi, improving overall performance and turbocharger spool time. The kit includes custom-designed piping with a 2.25-inch diameter hotside pipe and a 2.75-inch diameter coldside pipe, optimized for power and driveability. The hotside pipe supports over 500whp and improves response, while the larger coldside pipe creates a plenum for reduced turbo lag. Each coldside pipe integrates a 1/8-27 NPT port for methanol auxiliary cooling or fueling. The 4-ply reinforced silicone couplers feature integrated wire reinforcement for enhanced strength and flexibility. Installation is rated at a 2/5 difficulty with an estimated 3-hour install time, and full-color digital instructions are provided. The kit comes complete with polished stainless steel T-bolt clamps for a professional finish. Note that the 27WON Cold-pipe may contact the underside of Mishimoto intake users.
