FMIC Piping Kit

The RPM KIT-RPM-MAZDA3 is a front mount intercooler (FMIC) piping kit specifically customized for the Mazdaspeed 3. It is constructed from 2.5" aluminum piping, utilizes enforced silicone hoses, and includes stainless steel T-clamps for secure connections. RPM has enhanced this CX Racing piping kit with several improvements. These include a protective silicone sleeve for the pipe that runs down in front of the engine, a longer 90-degree silicone hose to ensure better fitment, and a correctly sized hose clamp for the reducer hose. This kit is sold as piping only and is intended for use with the Treadstone TR6 or TR8 intercooler, requiring RPM's compatible Treadstone intercooler brackets. The kit is available with choices for the finish and hose color, with silicone hoses offered in black, blue, or a red/black combination (red straight hoses, black curved hoses). Please note that the stock BPV recirculation hose may not reach the new BPV location without stretching, so an aftermarket hose like the JBR DISI Bypass Valve Return Hose is recommended. Additionally, the area between the motor and radiator shroud is a tight fit; while the included silicone sleeve offers some protection, continuous monitoring is advised to prevent damage to the A/C line due to potential rubbing.
