FMOC13 Oil Cooler Kit

Developed from direct involvement with BTCC and previous generation i30N success, the Forge Motorsport FMOC13 oil cooler kit is designed for the Hyundai i30N MK3.5. This oil cooler radiator originates from Forge's motorsport department, guaranteeing exceptional performance and a tough, durable construction. The kit is bespoke for the i30N Mk3.5, featuring a laser-cut aluminum bracket for perfect fitment to the crash bar, along with integrated side ducting to guide airflow efficiently through the core. This design ensures superior air flow directly through the vehicle's radiator grill. During development for the second-generation i30N, Forge Motorsport identified that oil temperatures could reach dangerous levels, especially when tuned or driven hard in hot climates. Elevated oil temperatures thin the oil, reducing lubrication for internal engine components. The FMOC13 is therefore presented as a critical product for keen drivers, significantly reducing oil temperatures. Unlike many universal kits, this FMOC13 maintains the factory oil-to-water cooler, effectively doubling the engine's oil cooling capabilities. This oil cooler kit features a built-in thermostat within the sandwich plate, set to open at 85°C – determined as the optimal working temperature during testing. This ensures the engine operates within its most efficient oil temperature range. The oil cooler lines are constructed from PTFE, reinforced with stainless steel braided nylon, and utilize aviation-grade aluminum fittings. The kit is manufactured in Gloucester, UK, to the highest standards and is backed by Forge Motorsport's lifetime warranty. It is available in a raw finish or a black powder coat for a stealthier aesthetic. The kit includes: 1x Forge aluminum sandwich plate, 1x twin pass oil cooler, 4x M6x20 fasteners, 4x M6 washers, 2x oil lines, 4x M6 Rubber Riv nuts, 1x M20x1.5 adaptor, 1x weather strip, and all necessary fixings. The product is compatible with the Hyundai i30N MK3.5 (Facelift 2021-) and Veloster N 2021- (Facelift).
