Wilwood Forged Narrow Superlite 4R/ST four-piston radial mount race caliper rear brake kits are engineered to match AERO6R/ST front race kits for vehicles intended for unrestricted road race competition. This kit emphasizes matched front-to-rear balance, high durability, and high-efficiency heat management, without adding unnecessary rotating or unsprung weight. The FNSL4R/ST calipers feature a forged aluminum body and a Type III Mil-Spec, medium gray color hard anodized finish for superior wear resistance, abrasion resistance, and corrosion resistance. Thermlock® pistons are utilized to reduce heat transfer and increase fade resistance, while extending service life. Internal damper springs and controlled retraction, high-temperature piston seals ensure consistent pedal height. Caliper piston volumes are compatible with OE master cylinder output and ABS controls, and also compatible with manual brake conversions using balance bar pedals. Spec37 alloy GT series directional vane 12.88” rotors are dynamically mounted to the OE hubs with weight-saving forged aluminum hats, which are also hard anodized for superior wear resistance. Mounting brackets and premium grade fasteners secure the calipers to the uprights in the stock location without modifications. The system is completed with high-temperature, high-friction, race compound pads. Fittings and flexlines are not included and must be ordered separately (Part #WIL-220-8177 for C5 and #WIL-220-9101 for C6). This brake kit may require 17-inch or larger wheels or wheel spacers for proper fit.
