Focus ST 2.0L EcoBoost Cold Air Intake

The Steeda Focus ST Cold Air Intake is engineered to elevate the performance of the 2.0L EcoBoost engine found in the MK3 2013-2018 Ford Focus ST. It aims to improve the vehicle's performance by lowering intake air temperatures, which directly contributes to better engine efficiency and potentially improved fuel economy. Constructed with performance and durability in mind, this cold air intake utilizes a roto-molded thermoplastic airbox that seals against the hood liner to ensure it captures the cold air feed from the grille. It also features a precision-molded thermoplastic velocity stack and a high-flow, serviceable air filter. These components work together to provide a cool, dense air charge to the engine, while a silicone intake tube connects the system. Steeda claims peak-to-peak gains of 10 horsepower at the wheels and maximum gains of up to 16 horsepower. The design of this intake helps prevent heat soak, a common issue with factory air boxes, and it cools to ambient temperature range significantly faster while producing more power. It utilizes the factory cold air feed duct from the grille and offers greatly increased intake resonance.
