The Forced Performance XR Blue 73HTZ Ball Bearing Turbo for EJ WRX/STi is an upgrade turbocharger designed to deliver significant power gains. It features a 73mm HTZ compressor section and an 8cm2 turbine section, optimized to provide a balance of spool and power. This turbo is capable of producing upwards of 475 wheel horsepower (WHP) and flows 57 pounds per minute (LB/min). It utilizes a XONA Ball Bearing CHRA (Center Housing Rotating Assembly) for enhanced durability, particularly in demanding situations like road racing or autocross, where low oil flow might occur. The turbo comes with a M12x1.25 oil inlet in the bearing housing, making it compatible with FP Subaru Oil Feed lines (included). Internal gate Subaru turbos are available with either a stock canister-style 15 PSI actuator or an optional 18 PSI TiAL MVI actuator. The 84MM Flow Advancement Port (FAP) compressor cover option requires TGV Delete for stock location fitment. Ceramic turbine housing coating is available as an upgrade to help manage under-hood temperatures and improve aesthetics.
