Ford 10.5" Axle Assembly 3.73 Posi-Traction

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2043B is a remanufactured axle assembly built for durability and precision. The remanufacturing process involves a comprehensive inspection and replacement of worn components. This axle assembly features a 10.5-inch Ford axle with a 3.73 gear ratio and a Posi-traction (limited-slip) differential. It is specifically designed for 2000-2001 Ford Excursions and 2000-2004 Ford F-250 and F-350 trucks equipped with Single Rear Wheel (SRW) configurations and a U-joint style pinion yoke. During the remanufacturing process, all tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications, and housings are thoroughly tested for surface wear and cracks. Critical internal parts, including ring and pinion gears, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, undergo a 100% inspection. Zumbrota Drivetrain also replaces all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims to ensure optimal performance and longevity. The housings are cleaned using a state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing process, restoring them to an OEM finish. Correct rolling torque is established using inch-pound measurements for precise setup and extended service life.
