Description

The ATK HP74 is an upgrade engine for 1996-2000 Chevy trucks or SUVs equipped with the 5.7L Vortec V-8 (L31) engine. This engine is rated at 315 horsepower and 400 ft-lbs of torque. It features an OE roller block, hypereutectic pistons with 9.3:1 compression, and Vortec cast iron cylinder heads. ECM tuning and headers are required for optimal performance. Power ratings may vary depending on the EFI system used. The engine may not include all components, but recommendations are provided for a complete installation.
