Description

The KB Performance Pistons KB177.040 is a set of eight hypereutectic aluminum pistons designed for Ford Cleveland V8 engines. These pistons feature a flat top with a single valve relief and a 4.040 inch bore.

Constructed from 390 aluminum alloy and heat-treated to T6 standards, these pistons are approximately 30 percent stronger than untreated hypereutectics. They include CNC-machined crowns, high upper compression-ring location, gas-accumulator grooves, drilled oil returns, and spiral-lock retainer grooves.
