Description

The CVR Protorque Starter Motor (MPN 5048) is a high-performance, gear-reduction starter designed for tough street and race engines. It features a unique aluminum housing that helps eliminate hot start problems and is adjustable for header and oil pan clearance, offering 18 adjustable positions. This 1.9 HP starter has a 4:1 reduction ratio, heavy-duty 6004 bearing for drive assembly, and full ball bearing construction to reduce amperage draw and extend unit life. Its field coils are series wound for maximum strength.
