Overview

The Detroit Speed oil pan kit is designed for installing a Ford 351ci Windsor engine block into the Detroit Speed Aluma-Frame front suspension module. This "T" style rear sump oil pan has a 7-quart capacity and includes the necessary oil pump pickup, providing clearance for the Aluma-Frame cradle. It also fits 1979-up Mustang, 1981-'88 Thunderbird & Cougar, and 1979-'86 Capri applications, as well as 2005-up Mustang SCCA and NASA racecars with 351W engines.

Constructed with thick, precision laser-cut steel rails and a clear zinc finish, the pan features billet end seals for superior sealing. The pan clears all 4-bolt main caps and accepts up to a 4.0" stroke with most steel rods. It also includes a 1/2" N.P.T. oil temperature bung and magnetic drain plugs, making it suitable for road racing, drag racing, or kit car applications.
