The Clevite 50720.030 is an engine piston ring set designed for Ford 428 engines from 1966-1970, Ford Industrial 428 engines from 1969, and Mercury 428 engines. These MAHLE OE plain ring sets feature advanced technology focused on reducing friction and oil consumption while providing a longer service life.

Constructed with cast iron top and second rings (5/64 in. thickness) and a CP-20 oil ring (3/16 in. thickness), these rings are engineered for high tensile strength, excellent hardness, and low ring mass. This design contributes to stress resistance, minimal groove wear, and optimal cylinder sealing for good blow-by control and oil economy.
