FORD 5.0L COYOTE MODULAR V8

The Wiseco K0083XS Piston and Ring Kit is a high-performance forged piston set designed for Ford 5.0L Coyote DOHC V8 4 Valve engines. These pistons feature a 9.5:1 compression ratio and a 3.630" bore, engineered for applications with boost and/or nitrous. Key features include a .300" Down Top Ring, thick skirts and struts, and Wiseco Armour-Glide Skirt Coating for enhanced seizure resistance, reduced friction, and quieter operation. The kit includes Wiseco GNX Piston Rings, consisting of a Gas Nitrided Steel Top Ring and a Napier 2nd Ring with a 3-piece Oil Ring, designed to withstand high boost/nitrous levels and aid in oil control. Made from 2618 High Strength Alloy, these pistons have fully machined crowns and precision ring grooves. Standard 4130 Chrome Moly - .173" Wall wrist pins are included, with 52100 Tool Steel .200" Wall Wrist Pins available as an upgrade for applications over 800 HP. Custom pistons are suggested for applications over 1300 HP.
