This HEI-style unit integrates a powerful 65,000-volt coil and a magnetic trigger directly within the distributor housing, simplifying installation by removing the need for a separate coil or ignition box. Installation is streamlined with a convenient one-wire hookup, making it ideal for EFI-to-carb swap projects on applications like the Ford Mustang, Thunderbird, Crown Victoria, F-Series, Bronco, Mercury Cougar, and Lincoln Mark VII. The distributor features a machined aluminum housing and a steel drive gear. It also includes adjustable mechanical and vacuum advance mechanisms, allowing for street-tunable timing curves to optimize performance with your carbureted setup.
