The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1931H-P is a remanufactured complete axle assembly built to exacting standards for Ford 8.8" applications. This unit features a 3.73 gear ratio, a Posi Limited Slip Differential (LSD) for enhanced traction, and is equipped with 10" drum brakes. Each axle assembly is meticulously rebuilt by Zumbrota Drivetrain, ensuring precision and reliability. The process includes a thorough inspection of all internal components, such as ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers. All bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. Gears are carefully inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and set to precise rolling torque specifications using inch-pound measurements for maximum longevity and quiet operation. Correct gear backlash is also set to ensure proper lubrication and performance. Zumbrota Drivetrain employs an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure on both internal and external parts.
