Ford 8.8 Driveline Kit

The V8 Roadsters Ford 8.8 Driveline Kit provides a solid and reliable rear-end solution for custom vehicle builds, particularly those targeting higher horsepower applications or drag racing. This kit is engineered to mount the robust Ford 8.8 differential, which is known for its durability and use in numerous kit car and custom projects. The kit's innovative mounting design effectively eliminates drivetrain twist and flex without compromising factory bracing points. It is compatible with differentials from 1989-97 T-Birds, 1993-97 Mark VIIIs, and 2003-04 Cobras (31 spline). The differential carrier itself can be steel or aluminum, offering a wide range of ratio and positive traction options. Stage 1 kits are designed for builds up to 400 wheel horsepower (whp) and work with factory hubs. Stage 2 kits support up to 600whp, and Stage 3 kits are rated for 950whp, including upgraded forged hubs and ARP studs. Customers can select their preferred driveshaft material (aluminum, carbon, steel) or opt out of the driveshaft for custom transmission swap applications. The recommended aluminum shaft offers improved driveability and reduced rotating mass. Please note that due to the numerous axle and configuration options, axles are built to order, with lead times typically ranging from 4 to 6 weeks. The differential itself is not included in the kit and must be sourced by the customer.
