383 cubic inch stroker base engine from ATK High Performance Engines for 1987-1995 Chevy Trucks and SUVs with a 350 TBI engine. Features a 4-bolt main OE roller block (1996-2000), 4.040” x 3.750” bore/stroke, producing 320 HP and 395 TQ. Includes Scat Nodular Iron crankshaft, Scat I-Beam 5.7” rods with ARP 8740 bolts, hypereutectic 9.5:1 compression pistons with moly rings. Utilizes a hydraulic roller camshaft (198/210 @50 .435in/.462ex 116LSA), double roller timing chain, OE TBI Cast Iron 67cc cylinder heads (1.94/1.50 valves). Stamped steel 1.5 ratio rocker arms and Melling STD Volume oil pump included. Rear sump 5-quart oil pan may not be suitable for Chevelles with steering behind the crossmember, some Corvettes, and 1962-1967 Chevy II’s. Requires an ECM chip burned for performance.
