The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2024C-P is a remanufactured complete axle assembly for the 2000 Ford F150, featuring a Ford 9.75-inch ring gear and a 3.55 gear ratio with Posi limited-slip traction. This unit is specifically designed for rear drum brake configurations and is equipped with 14 mm wheel studs. Zumbrota Drivetrain emphasizes the quality of their remanufacturing process. Each axle assembly undergoes thorough inspection for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components, including ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are inspected and tested. New bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are installed. The gear backlash is precisely set for optimal lubrication and quiet operation, and rolling torque is established using inch-pound measurements for setup and longevity. Housings are inspected to ensure they meet OEM standards for straightness. This assembly is meticulously cleaned using a hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure, followed by a proprietary shot-peening deep cleaning process.
