Description

The Mag-Hytec Ford #12-9.75 differential cover is constructed from finned aircraft aluminum, providing a robust and reinforced housing with thick walls to prevent gasket flange bending during bolt tightening. This cover is engineered for Ford 12-bolt, 9.75-inch ring gear differentials, fitting F150, Lightning, and Expedition models. Key features include a 5-quart capacity, a magnetic drain plug for efficient fluid removal, and an anodized aluminum dipstick with a magnetic insert, simplifying lube level checks and maintenance without requiring differential cover removal. It also comes equipped with a 1/8 NPT temperature sender port and includes 303 stainless steel hardware. O-rings are utilized for a gasket-free, leak-resistant seal. Installation instructions are included, and the cover is fully assembled for straightforward installation. It is important to note that this cover will not fit Ford 12-bolt 8.8 differentials; for those applications, see #F 12-8.8.
