FORD 9' HOUSING AND AXLES SATIN BL

This Ridetech Ford 9″ Rear End Assembly is designed for a bolt-on installation into 1964-1972 GM A-Body vehicles, specifically for use with a Ridetech Bolt-On 4-Link. The housing is powder-coated satin black and includes all necessary bracketry. The 9″ Ford housing features a webbed center section with internal gussets, 1/4″ wall 3″ diameter tubes, and billet steel flanges (New Style Big Bearing/Torino). The pinion is offset 1″, and the axle flange is offset 2 ½”. It's available in a stock axle flange-to-axle flange width of 61.25″ or a narrowed 56″ for mini-tubbed applications. Housings include a drain plug, jack pad, Grade 8 T-bolt hardware, and pre-installed 3rd member studs. The package comes with 31-spline heat-treated 1541H Alloy axles featuring a 5″ x 4 ¾” bolt pattern and Grade 8 1/2″-20 x 2″ wheel studs. Timken SET20 bearings are pressed onto the axles, which also include bearing retaining plates and pre-installed axle seals. Axles have an access hole for serviceability. Optional third members are available (not included in this package) and feature a Yukon nodular iron case, aluminum Daytona pinion support, 1350 billet steel yoke, Timken bearings, and an Eaton Trutrac helical-gear limited-slip differential. These optional third members are available with 3.50, 3.70, 3.89, or 4.11 ratios and include LubeLocker gaskets.
