FORD EB BOOST OPERATED BOV - RED

This is the Boomba Racing Boost Operated Blow Off Valve. It's a direct replacement for your OEM bypass valve that comes provided with everything you need to complete the installation right out of the box. This is a 100% vent to the atmosphere operation that features an ECU controlled solenoid that provides the blow-off valve with vacuum and boost pressure. Using boost to close the valve will keep it sealed no matter what the boost pressure is. The higher the pressure then the stronger the force there will be to keep the valve closed. The vacuum will be used to keep the valve open in this configuration. When combined with the ECU controlled solenoid, this will prevent the valve from fluttering or any premature opening. Additionally, this design works to eliminate any unwanted pressure spikes during venting. The main objective is to prevent turbo lag and allow the vehicle to hold boost in a steadier manner. When the throttle plate closes, excess boost pressure is vented so that the turbocharger can continue to spin during higher RPMs rather than surging from backpressure. This blow-off valve has been pressure tested to over 75psi to make sure this is a leak-free operation. The electrical connection to the solenoid matches up to your factory wiring to make it a plug and play installation.
