The Circle D Specialties Ford Pro Series 10R60 Torque Converter is engineered for high-horsepower applications, specifically for forced induction setups utilizing turbo or twin turbochargers. This custom-manufactured converter features a 258mm diameter and is designed to handle over 2000 lb-ft of torque, making it an excellent choice for builds demanding significant power. Construction highlights include a billet steel front cover for enhanced durability, clutch pack isolators for smooth operation, and a CDS exclusive deep groover ball bearing. The unit also incorporates CFD modeled, 5-axis billet steel stator technology and a patent-pending flow control piston design to optimize performance. Furnace brazing and hand TIG welding are used for the fins, ensuring robust construction.
