Description

New 460 engine block replaces the M-6010-A460BB block and is manufactured with all new tooling. This cast iron block features 4-bolt main caps on journals 2, 3, and 4, and nodular iron main caps. It can be bored/stroked to produce 598 cu. in. with siamese cylinder bores. It is rough bored to 4.490" (+/- .003") with a maximum recommended bore of 4.625". The design includes wet sump oiling and a 3.00" main journal diameter. This is a high-strength block intended for professional competition use only or off-highway use only, and should not be installed on vehicles driven on public roads.
