The Speedmaster PCE435.1022 is a comprehensive top-end engine combo kit designed for Ford SB 289-302 engines. This kit includes 190cc cylinder heads, a dual plane intake manifold with a natural finish, and polished cast aluminum valve covers. It is engineered for hydraulic flat tappet camshafts and is compatible with a maximum lift of .550 inches, with a coil bind point of .740 inches. The intake manifold is designed for a specific operating RPM range of 1,500-6,600 RPM and has a height of 5.390 inches. The kit includes guideplates, but pushrods are not supplied, requiring a 3/8 inch guideplate pushrod size. Rocker arm nut thread size is 3/8-24 in. This kit is ideal for builders looking to upgrade their Ford small block engine with performance components. The dual plane intake provides a good torque band for street applications, while the 190cc heads offer improved airflow for increased power.
