The Eagle Specialty Products 435040006000 is a high-performance crankshaft constructed from forged 4340 steel, designed to enhance engine capabilities. This crankshaft features a 4.000-inch stroke and internal engine balance, making it suitable for demanding applications. It is engineered with a 2-piece rear main seal style and requires narrow bearings, ensuring proper fitment and performance. The journals are precision-ground and micro-polished to less than 5 R.A. for improved oiling and durability, with chamfered oil holes and a .125-inch radius on rod and main journals for increased strength. Designed for Chevrolet small block Gen I engines, this crankshaft is specifically for stroker applications, fitting V8 engines from 1967 to 1986, including the 5.7L/350. It utilizes a 6-bolt crankshaft to flywheel/flexplate attachment. A target bob weight of +/- 2 percent is designed to reduce balancing time.
